Scholarship Fund
From our fields to their next chapter
Each spring the DYS Scholarship Committee awards grants to graduating athletes who gave back to the league that raised them.
Eligibility
Who can apply
- Graduating high school senior in the 2026–27 school year
- Played at least two seasons in a DYS league
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Enrolled or accepted at a college, university, or trade program
- Documented community service or volunteer hours
Application packet
What to send
- Completed application form
- Official high school transcript
- Two letters of recommendation (one non-family)
- Acceptance letter or enrollment confirmation
- Personal essay: what sports taught you about your community (500 words)
Applications close April 15
Send your complete packet as a single PDF. Awards are announced in May.
